Unlike Golkar, Gerindra Tends To Carry Dedi Mulyadi-Bima Arya For The West Java Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The Gerindra Party tends to choose its cadre who is also the former Regent of Purwakarta, Dedi Mulyadi as a candidate for governor of West Java 2024. Dedi will be paired with the former Mayor of Bogor as well as a PAN politician, Bima Arya Sugiarto in the West Java Pilkada. The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that the proposal of the Dedi-Bima pair had been communicated with political parties in the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM). But apart from PAN, Dasco has not mentioned any other party. "Yes, talking with coalition friends in West Java is more towards Dedy Mulyani and his cawagub Mr. Bima Arya," said Dasco at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 11. Nevertheless, Dasco said, his party is still conducting surveys related to potential candidates to be carried in the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election. "We are also conducting surveys, while waiting for registration in August. Of course, these surveys will continue to be carried out and the strengthening below will continue," he said. Dasco denied that there were differences of opinion between Gerindra and Golkar for the West Java gubernatorial election. It is known, Golkar recommends Ridwan Kamil to run again in the West Java Pilkada as a cagub.

"Actually, it's not a difference of opinion, which of these are more priority, advanced where to win," said Dasco. "So the discussion is like that and it has actually been rented out with friends from the Advanced Indonesia Coalition Party," he concluded.
