KPK Leader Calls Confiscation Of Hasto PDIP's Cellphone To Find Communication With Harun Masiku

JAKARTA - The leadership of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is still looking for or not communication between PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto and fugitive in the alleged bribery case of interim replacement (PAW), Harun Masiku. Search for this information via a cell phone or cellphone (HP) belonging to Hasto, which was confiscated by the Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK. This was conveyed by the Temporary Chairperson of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango, at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 11. Nawawi admitted that he had not received any progress regarding the connection between the confiscation of Hasto's cellphone and the information on Harun's whereabouts. What is clear, he said, is that the KPK leadership has instructed him to continue looking for Harun. "I have not received an update from the fingerprint task force team regarding the search effort. What we have ordered them is to find Harun Masiku, if now it develops like this, we want to ask for an explanation from the Deputy," said Nawawi. Nawawi will also ask for an explanation regarding the information regarding the communication between Hasto and advocate Simeon Petrus who is said to have hidden Harun. "That's among other things that we ask for an explanation," he said.

Therefore, Nawawi could not confirm whether there was communication between Hasto and Simeon. Because, he himself has not received an explanation from the deputy for prosecution. "We haven't confirmed it like that yet," he said.
