Nawawi Will Ask The Deputy For Enforcement To Explain The Confiscation Of The PDIP Hasto HP Regarding Harun Masiku

JAKARTA - The interim chairman of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango, admitted that he was asking the Deputy for Enforcement of the KPK to provide an explanation regarding the confiscation of a cell phone or cellphone (HP) belonging to the Secretary General of PDIP, Hasto Kristiyanto. "Incidentally, I just arrived this morning, and I just asked the deputy for action to explain to us," said Nawawi at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, June 11. Nawawi will also ask for an explanation regarding the information regarding the communication between Hasto and advocate Simeon Petrus who is said to have hidden Harun. "That's among other things that we ask for an explanation," he said. Therefore, Nawawi could not confirm whether there was communication between Hasto and Simeon. Because, he himself has not received an explanation from the deputy for prosecution. "We haven't confirmed it like that yet," he said. Meanwhile, the legal team of the Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto plans to report the actions of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators who conducted searches and confiscated Hasto's personal belongings and staff during an examination as a witness in the Harun Masiku case. The items confiscated by KPK investigators today included 2 units of Hasto's cellphone, 1 unit of cellphone belonging to Hasto's staff named Kusnadi, and Kusnadi's savings book.

The search and confiscation were reported by the legal team to the KPK Supervisory Board (Dewas). The legal team will also file a pretrial regarding the action. "The step we can take is that soon we will report to the Council, the KPK supervisory board. Second, we will file a pretrial at the South Jakarta District Court," said Hasto's attorney, Ronny Talapessy at the PDIP DPP office, Central Jakarta, Monday, June 10.
