Regarding KPK Leadership, Pahala Asks Pansel Capim And Council To Consider Input From Employees

JAKARTA - Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Pahala Nainggolan hopes that the selection committee (pansel) for leadership candidates (capim) and the supervisory board will ask for input from the institution's employees. So, in the future, a suitable figure can be selected as a leader.

This was conveyed by Pahala who said he was a representative of KPK employees when asked about the capim committee and supervisory board.

"It seems that those who know the needs of the KPK include, among others, KPK employees. Because we know for sure what kind of leadership we are ideal for," Pahala told reporters at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, quoted on Tuesday, June 11.

Pahala agrees that every candidate must have integrity. However, they are also expected to have managerial and leadership capabilities.

"Don't think this is an institution, it's just an honest person's capital," he said.

"There are a lot of honest people, there are a lot of honest employees. The capital of KPK employees is. That's for the Pansel, leave a message by chance the head of the Pansel and my friend," continued Pahala.

It didn't stop there, Pahala also mentioned the KPK's capim and council tests that were too long. Do not let a potential figure fail at the beginning.

That must be cut by a long administrative process, psychological tests, leader discussions. That's gradual, this is true. This is looking for a leader, you know. Not looking for a CPNS or an officer," he said.

"Look at the private sector, if you're looking for a CEO, you're just invited to lunch, don't ask him to test all kinds of things. So just give advice, adopt modern management practices about recruitment. This is looking for the leadership," concluded Pahala.
