Respond To KPK's Call Regarding Harun Masiku, Hasto PDIP: I Will Give The Best Information

Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyanto fulfilled the summons of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today, Monday, June 10. He will be examined as a witness regarding Harun Masiku who is still at large today.

From field observations, Hasto, who used batik, arrived at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta at around 09.39 WIB. He was accompanied by a number of people, including lawyer Ronny Talapesy.

"As I promised as a citizen who obeys the law, I fulfilled the summons from the KPK to provide information and I was invited in my capacity as a witness to the issue related to Harun Masiku," Hasto told reporters before entering the building lobby.

"I will give the best possible information," he continued.

Hasto does not yet know what investigators will investigate in this case. He only confirmed that he would inform him that the investigation was complete.

"After I carry out this task as a witness, I will give a complete press statement," said the former member of the DPR RI.

Previously, the KPK Spokesperson Team, Budi Prasetyo, confirmed that Hasto Kristiyanto, who is the Secretary General of the PDIP, would be examined as a witness regarding Harun Masiku. He is expected to fulfill the investigator's summons.

Hasto is the fourth witness summoned by the anti-corruption commission investigators after pocketing new information regarding Harun Masiku.

Meanwhile, Harun Masiku is a suspect in giving bribes to former KPU commissioner Wahyu Setiawan. This gift was given so that he could sit as a member of the DPR through interim shifts (PAW).
