Solo Embarkation Hajj Candidate Dies In The Holy Land Increases By 2 People

JAKARTA - The Solo Embarkation Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) stated that the number of Hajj candidates from Central Java who died in the holy land increased by two more people, bringing the total to 12 people.

"There is news that two additional Hajj candidates who died in the holy land were received by PPIH Embarkation Solo at the Donohudan Boyolali Hajj Dormitory, Saturday, June 8," said Head of the Public Relations Subdivision of PPIH, Solo Embarkation Gentur Rahma Indriadi, at the Hajj Donohudan Boyolali Dormitory.

Currently a total of 14 people have died, namely two people in Medina, 10 people in Makkah, Saudi Arabia and two others in the Haji Donohudan Boyolali Dormitory. There are 12 people who have died in the holy land and two others in the country.

Dua calon haji meninggal di tanah suci tersebut yakni Sukirto Arja Semita (70), warga Kabupaten Cilacap tergabung Kloter 22 dan Wagiran Kastoreko (75), warga Kebumen Jateng, tergabung Kloter 11.

Hajj candidate Sukirto Arja Semita passed away at the Hotel Kawtar Al Mahaba Makkah Saudi Arabia, on Friday (7/6), due to a heart attack and his body was buried by Soraya Makkah. Kastoreko Hajj candidate died at King Faisal Makkah Hospital, on Friday (7/6), due to a lung infection. His body was then buried in Soraya Makkah.

"With the addition of two prospective pilgrims who died, a total of 14 people, namely 12 in the holy land and two others in the country," he said.

According to him, the congregation who died was on average 65 years of age and over and also had comorbidities or congenitals. After receiving the report there was news of grief until the sad news was published from Saudi Arabia and received at the Solo Embarkation. PPIH then conveyed the sad news to the local Ministry of Religion to inform the families of pilgrims in the regions.

"In addition to conveying sad news and explaining the rights to the families of the pilgrims who died in the regions. Both in worship and in insurance that will be received by the family," he said.
