Regarding the construction of the Presidential Palace at IKN, Jokowi said that around 80 percent had been completed, both for the interior and exterior.

The President believes that the construction of the Presidential Palace and other infrastructure needed for the RI Anniversary Ceremony on August 17 will be completed on time.

"For the preparation of the 17's, it's almost final. There are no problems in the field, we checked one by one from the venue location, then the ceremony sequence procedure, everything has no problem. So, the construction is around mid-July which is here ready and will begin to prepare for August 17, "said the President.

Jokowi also admitted that he had experienced himself staying at the official residence of the Minister of PUPR at IKN on Tuesday, June 4 evening.

"Last night I stayed at the minister's house, the official residence of the Minister of PUPR. Yes, this morning it was very beautiful, yesterday when the sunset was very beautiful and that's what I said. (I) slept very well," said President Jokowi.

The Ministry of PUPR ensures that the construction of the State Palace, ceremonial fields, palace areas, and the Presidential Office remains on target and is expected to be completed and can be used for the ceremony of the Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia on August 17, 2024 at IKN.
