Attacked, Referee Tarkam Reports To Semarang Police

SEMARANG - Semarang Resort Police (Polres), Central Java, received reports of alleged beatings against two referees by a number of players in one of the competition matches between villages (tarkam) "Bener Bersatu Cup 2024" in Semarang Regency.

The Head of Public Relations of the Semarang Police, AKP Pri Handayani, confirmed that the report submitted through his attorney to the Tengaran Police.

Two referees were victims of the beating who led the match between Putra Bakti FC Patemon and Ar Raffi Ampel Boyolali at Pule Bener Field, Tengaran District, Semarang Regency (2/6), namely Hadi Suroso and Ridwan Prayitno.

"The complaint to the Tengaran Police, then taken over by the Semarang Police Satreskrim," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, June 4.

The beating in the match that competed for the Semarang Regent's Cup began with the dissatisfaction of the player Putra Bakti FC against referee Hadi Suroso, sparking chaos.

Security officers then evacuated referee Hadi Suroso who was the target of players' frustration.

The final match continued with the leadership of the referee to replace Ridwan Prayitno.
