JAKARTA - Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin met with the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono at DKI Jakarta City Hall. Budi said the Ministry of Health would revitalize three central government-owned hospitals.
"I came to the governor to ask for permission because we want to revitalize our three major hospitals, namely the Mother of Hope Kita Mother and Child Hospital, Harapan Kita Heart Hospital, and Dharmais Hospital," said Budi Gunadi, Monday, June 3.
To Heru, the Minister of Health asked the DKI Provincial Government to provide access to public transportation that is easier to reach for people undergoing treatment in the three hospitals.
"In order to integrate into a public space as well, in it there is a park, we need access from the termination of the Transjakarta and LRT bus stops, we build a road so that ambulances can exit the toll road, and we have a plan to revitalize the area into one area," said Budi Gunadi.
Minister of Health Budi Gunadi explained that the construction of the Dharmais Hospital had been carried out. The plan is that the hospital which will be inaugurated by President Joko Widodo will be built with 20 levels.
According to him, the government has received grant funds from Japan to revitalize the Harapan Kita Heart and Blood Vessel Hospital (RSJPD). The plan is for the construction of the 22-level hospital to be carried out this year.
"We are looking for funding from Harapan Kita Hospital. However, two buildings (Dharmais Hospital and RSKPD) already have sources of funds," explained Budi Gunadi.
