Appointed As Head Of OIKN, Minister Of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono Focuses On Managing Land Status To Investment

Minister of PUPR Basuki Hadimuljono said there were a number of work focuses after appointing himself as the Acting Head of the IKN Authority by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). These include dealing with land status to investment.

"So the focus is on the implementation of this program, the problem is land and investment," Basuki told reporters in a press conference broadcast on the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube, Monday, June 3.

Meanwhile, Basuki was appointed as the Acting Head of the IKN Authority along with King Juli Antoni who became his deputy. So the two of us will immediately decide the status of the land in IKN. Whether it is sold, rented or KPBU. We want to speed it up so that investors will no longer hesitate for investment," he continued.

In addition, Basuki will also prepare the IKN Special Government. This is because the IKN Authority did not immediately become a leader in the area.

"Because OIKN's task is to accelerate the development of IKN itself. The local government will be prepared separately by maybe the task force or task force with the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri)," said Basuki.

"I think that was what the President said about special tasks or the focus of the Acting Head and Deputy Head of IKN," he explained.

Previously reported, PUPR Minister Basuki Hadimuljono and Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN Raja Juli Antoni became the Acting Head and Deputy Head of the IKN Authority after Bambang Susantono and Donny Rahajoe resigned from their positions.

The Minister of State Secretary did not elaborate on the resignation. However, he said that Donny Rahajoe's application was submitted by the Deputy Head of the IKN Authority.

"Mr. President received a letter of resignation from Mr. Donny Rahajoe as Deputy Head of the IKN Authority and then some time later the President received a letter requesting the resignation of Mr. Bambang Susantono, from the Head of the IKN Authority," Pratikno said at a press conference, Monday, June 3.

"Today, the president's decision to honorably dismiss Mr. Bambang Susantono as Head of the IKN Authority and also Mr. Donny Rahahoe as Deputy Head of the IKN Authority is accompanied by thanks for his services," he continued.
