The United Development Party (PPP) submitted a letter of assignment to three cadres to run in the district and city regional head elections (pilkada) in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province.
Deputy Chairperson of the PPP DPP Ermalena said the decision to issue this assignment letter was prioritized for cadres who wanted to run in the 2024 Pilkada.

He said the three cadres assigned this task were TGH Hazmi Hamzar to run for the Pilkada of East Lombok Regency, Syirajuddin for the Pilkada of Dompu Regency, and Weis Arqurnain for the Pilkada of Mataram City.

In this assignment letter, the PPP DPP provides a policy line that must be carried out by the candidates. The reason is, this will be discussed and will be part of the discussion in the PPP Rapimnas which will be held in Jakarta.

He said the assignment letter was signed by the General Chairperson of the PPP DPP and the Secretary General (Sekjen) of the PPP DPP. This assignment letter is valid for one month or until June 24, 2024.
