Kaesang Rumored To Be Advancing The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election, Projo Ensures Jokowi Is Not Weak Through The Supreme Court's Decision

The public is highlighting the decision of the Supreme Court (MA) which ordered the General Elections Commission (KPU) to change the minimum age limit for regional head candidates to 30 years when inaugurated.

The Supreme Court's decision coincides with the issue of President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) eldest son as well as PSI General Chair, Kaesang Pangarep will run in the 2024 Jakarta gubernatorial election.

The General Treasurer of Pro Jokowi Volunteers alias Projo, Panel Barus, ensured that Jokowi would not mess through the Supreme Court's decision, if Kaesang really ran for regional head in the 2024 Pilkada.

The panel even admitted that it had asked Jokowi about Kaesang's political steps. According to him, Jokowi was reluctant to intervene in order to smooth out Kaesang's steps in the 2024 Pilkada which will be held in November.

"If Pak Jokowi (talks to him, ed), for that matter, his attitude is clear, this son (Kaesang) is already big, already has bini, already has a family, let's think for ourselves, decide for yourself," said Panel, to reporters, Saturday, June 1.

Not just a claim, Panel emphasized, the statement was delivered by Jokowi himself in front of him.

"Friends (mand media workers) I say so believe or not? Later I don't believe it either, it's useless too. That's the discussion," he said.
