JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) confiscated a car belonging to Indira Chunda Thita, who is the son of former Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Syahrul Yasin Limpo or SYL. The confiscation of the car was carried out because it was suspected that the purchase process used someone else's identity. So, it should be suspected that there was an attempt to eliminate the actual ownership data. "It is suspected that the purchase used the identity of another party and then transferred its ownership again to eliminate the original traces of the real owner," he said. "In accordance with the Minutes of Confiscation, this car was confiscated from Indira Chunda Thita," Ali continued.

After confiscation, investigators will examine witnesses to mongonfirm the car ownership. Then, put it in the former examination event (BAP) of the SYL money laundering crime (TPPU). "Immediately it will be confirmed with witnesses and SYL suspects to complete the investigation case file for the alleged money laundering offense," said Ali.
