Jambi Police Antique Operation, 2.2 Kg Of Crystal Methamphetamine And 19 Bandar Successfully Arrested

Jambi Police confiscated 2.2 kilograms of methamphetamine and 2.3 kilograms of marijuana in the local jurisdiction during the 2024 Siginjai Anti-Drug Operation (Antik).

The methamphetamine and marijuana, said Jambi Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Ruliandy, quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, May 30, were confiscated from 19 drug dealers during Operation Antik Siginjai 2024, May 10, 2024.

Police are targeting locations prone to drug abuse, including nightclubs or clubs.

Of the 19 dealers, he said, six of them were targeted by the police, while the other 13 were non-targeted.

In carrying out this operation, the police also targeted a number of places suspected of being the location of drug trafficking transactions.

These locations include basecamps for drug trafficking in the areas of Selincah, Sipin Lake, and East Jambi.

"So, apart from nightclubs, we also raid locations suspected of being places of drug trafficking, we also raided Sipin Lake some time ago," he said.

During this operation, the police also arrested nine drug users based on the results of a urine test.

The police, who raided a nightclub in Jambi City, conducted a urine test on all visitors. As a result, nine people were found positive for drugs.

Furthermore, those who tested positive for drugs were rehabilitated. Of the nine users, one of them is a woman.

Users of these drugs have been rehabilitated at the Friends of the Jambi Province BNN Foundation and the Jambi City BNN.

For his actions, this drug dealer will be subject to Article 112 paragraph (2) or Article 114 paragraph (2) of Law Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
