The Results Of The Examination Of Members Of Densus 88 Jampidsus Stalker, Police Say No Problem

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has handed over members of the Special Detachment 88 of the National Police, Bripda Iqbal Mustofa, who stalked the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) Febrie Ardiansyah to the Bhayangkara Corps. However, from the results of the investigation, the National Police stated that no problems were found.

"From the DivPropam, we received information that the member had been examined and there was no problem," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Shandi Nugroho to reporters, Thursday, May 30.

In fact, Shandi also conveyed that the stalking issue had been closed along with a meeting between the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Attorney General ST Burhanuddin at the launch of GovTech at the State Palace.

The two leaders of law enforcement agencies are also said to have conveyed firmly if the police and prosecutors do not have any problems.

"The most important thing is when the leaders.. that was the incident a week ago, then Monday it was closed with a meeting between institutional leaders when there was activity at the palace," he said.

"It should have been answered last Monday that there were no problems between the Attorney General's Office and the police," continued Shandi.

Still related to the stalking, Shandi had mentioned the alleged party who tried to pit the Police against the Attorney General's Office.

However, it was emphasized that the two law enforcement agencies would always synergize, especially in eradicating criminal acts.

"Don't let us be pitted against the Attorney General's Office and the police later even applaud criminals and corruptors, in the future it will be decorations out there," said Shandi.

Jampidsus Febrie Ardiansyah was criticized by a number of members of the Special Detachment for Anti-Terror Police (Densus 88) while having dinner at a restaurant in the Cipete area, South Jakarta, Sunday, May 24.

The Head of the Attorney General's Office, Ketut Sumedana, said that the profiling of the Jampidus Febrie Ardiansyah was found on the cellphone of a member of Densus 88 Polri who was stalking.

This was discovered after the Densus 88 person was questioned after being secured by the Jampidus escort team.

"After examining the person who was stalking, it turned out that the cellphone in question was found by Professor rather than Pak Jampidsus," said Ketut.
