GROBONGAN - A middle-aged woman in Grobogan Regency was found dead covered in blood in her living room. It didn't take long for the police to manage to secure the perpetrator. The victim is a moneylender. The perpetrator killed because he was hurt by the victim.

Less than 1x24 hours after Masriah's body (54) was found, the police from the Grobogan Police managed to secure the perpetrator, Oki Saputra (21), a resident of Tangahharjo District, Grobogan Regency. The victim is a resident of Kebonagung Village, Tegowanu District, Grobogan Regency.

Grobogan Police Chief AKBP Dedy Anung Kurniawan said the disclosure of the case was the result of an investigation carried out by his staff. Prior to the incident, the victim collected debts from the perpetrators. The perpetrator darkened his eyes because there were unpleasant words from the victim.

"The motive for the murder was because the perpetrator felt hurt by the words of the victim who insulted the perpetrator with the word kereh (poor) and slandered that the perpetrator won a lot of gambling but did not want to pay off his debt," said Grobogan Police Chief AKBP Dedy Anung Kurniawan, Sunday, May 26.

The murder was planned by the perpetrator on Thursday 15 May. However, this intention was not carried out. Then, the murder was only carried out on Sunday 19 May 2024.

After finishing off the victim, the perpetrator, who was a construction worker, took the victim's money amounting to Rp. 9 million. The money was then immediately used by the perpetrator to drink alcohol, gambling, and karaoke.

"Strengthen sir, what he said was not good, sir. His intention was to kill, he had brought a knife. Yes, I know, sir, he was at home alone," said the perpetrator.

For his actions, the perpetrator is threatened with Article 340 in conjunction with 365 of the Criminal Code with the threat of life imprisonment.
