JAKARTA - Internet services were cut off in Gaza City and northern Gaza Strip, Palestinian telecommunications company Paltel reported on Saturday, May 25.

In a statement on X, the company said its services were disrupted by Israeli attacks that were ongoing in the region.

"Kru kami bekerja keras untuk memulihkan layanan sepauh mungkin," ujar perusahaan tersebut dikutip ANTARA, Minggu 26 Mei.

The blockaded enclave has faced several communications and internet disruptions amid Israel's brutal attacks in the area that left more than 35.900 people dead since October last year.

More than seven months since the conflict emerged, much of Gaza's territory has been destroyed and paralyzed by food blockades, clean water, and medicines.

Israel at the International Court (ICJ) is required to commit genocide.

ICJ has asked Tel Aviv to prevent its troops from taking the action, and ensure humanitarian aid can reach civilians in Gaza.

In its latest decision on Friday, May 24, a UN court ordered Israel to stop its attacks on the southern city of Rafah.
