Ridwan Kamil Calls West Java Developing Thanks To Collaboration

Ridwan Kamil said that the provinces of West Java and Bandung that he had led could develop because they collaborated with many parties, such as young people and other governments.

This was conveyed by the former Governor of West Java when he was a resource person for a talk show entitled 'Navigate the Future: A Talk on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Experience' in Singapore on Wednesday, May 22.

"West Java can grow and develop, one of which is because we are open to collaborating with other local governments, both at home and abroad," said Ridwan in an event held by the Indonesian Student Association (PPI).

Therefore, Ridwan reminded young people who are future assets of the nation to dare to move, for example, to become entrepreneurs. This is because micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can become the backbone of the economy of an area.

"So young people must dare to become entrepreneurs. Don't be afraid to fail. On the other hand, you must be optimistic and confident," he said.

The former mayor of Bandung then gave an example of himself now developing a business in the food and beverage sector called West Java Coffee. (This business, ed) has been initiated for a long time, the first to open in Australia. Indeed, one of the goals is to drain coffee from West Java to enter the world market into winning coffee, "said Ridwan.

"If I dare, young people should not be less brave. Must be more enthusiastic," he continued.

In addition, there are also other businesses made by Ridwan in the form of facial care or skincare, namely R1 Skin Care. He showed off that his business would penetrate the ASEAN market.

"The point is that local products are not inferior. They can enter the global market," concluded Ridwan.
