Jhoni Allen: AHY Seized The Sovereign Rights Of Democratic Cadres From Sabang To Merauke

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the Democratic Party of the Extraordinary Congress (KLB) version Jhoni Allen Marbun said he would report Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) to the authorities. This is because, according to Jhoni, AHY is responsible for the amendments to the preamble in the Democrat Party's Statutes / Bylaws (AD / ART).

According to Jhoni, the preamble or opening of the 2001 Democratic Party initial version cannot be changed.

"We will report it as a forgery, especially the opening or preamble of the AD / ART not in accordance with the original preamble for the establishment of the Democratic Party. That is fatal," said Jhoni during a press conference in Menteng, Jakarta, Thursday, March 11.

In addition to making changes, AHY is also considered to have carried out a structured planning and has even taken away the rights of Democratic cadres. This is because in the secretly drafted rules at the 2020 Congress, the DPC and DPD Democrats were deprived of their powers of democracy.

"Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono must be responsible for carrying out structured, massive and written planning, seizing democratic rights, seizing the sovereign rights of Democrat cadres from Sabang to Merauke," he explained.

Previously, the general chairman of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, was reported to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit for alleged defamation of the former chairman of the DPR RI, Marzuki Alie. Not only AHY, Marzuki also reported three officials and one cadre of the Democratic Party.

"What I can say is five people. One cadre is not a committee member, four members of the Democratic Party. Yes, one of them we will report, AHY is one of them," said lawyer Marzuki Alie, Rusdiansyah when met at the Police Headquarters, South Jakarta, Thursday March 4th.
