The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) conducted searches in Jakarta and Tangerang to investigate allegations of corruption in the procurement of goods and services at PT Telkom (Persero). As a result, investigators found evidence of fraudulent practices in the form of documents to electronic devices.

"Evidence was found and secured including documents and electronic devices allegedly used to commit unlawful acts in the case," said Head of the KPK News Section Ali Fikri to reporters in a written statement, Wednesday, May 22.

Ali said that a total of 10 locations were searched. In detail, six are the homes of related parties and four of them are offices located in the Telkom Hub area; Telkom Landmark Tower Building; and MT Haryono Tower.

Ali called this forced effort to thoroughly investigate the alleged corruption that occurred until April 2024. Furthermore, investigators' findings will be analyzed.

"Further analysis is carried out to be later confirmed by witnesses, the suspects, including experts, in order to complete the investigation case file," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK is again investigating allegations of corruption at PT Telkom. There are already names of suspects pocketed and this case is different from investigations carried out on PT Sigma Cipta Caraka or Telkomsigma.

In this case, it is suspected that the procurement of goods and services was carried out fictitiously. Thus, the state lost hundreds of billions of rupiah.

The KPK is currently pocketing the suspect's name. However, they do not want to elaborate because investigators are still looking for evidence to investigate their role clearly.
