The Action Of Men Desperately Fired From The Ciliwung River Bridge, Recorded By CCTV

JAKARTA - A motorized man was desperate to end his life by jumping into the Ciliwung River, Jatinegara District, East Jakarta. The perpetrator's actions were caught on CCTV cameras at the scene, Wednesday, May 22.

The man is known to have left the house, before carrying out an act of recklessly throwing himself into the Ciliwung River. CCTV footage recorded the man's seconds ending his life by jumping from the bridge.

The perpetrator left the house without saying goodbye to his family. The family then reported it to the local village.

The village head of Bidara Cina, Suhartono, said that the incident was revealed when a resident reported to the sub-district.

"So he lost his family from dawn out of the house or back. Then he was searched until noon he didn't find him, then neighbors told him that his motorbike was on the edge of the Ciliwung River on Jalan Berlian," Suhartono told reporters, Wednesday, May 22.

The resident then reported that the victim's motorbike was on the edge of the Ciliwung River but the person was not there. Then the victim's family got CCTV footage from the surrounding RT.

From the recording, it can be seen that his family went down to the Ciliwung River and was carried away by the water current. Residents also reported to the Polsek and Kelurahan.

"We will look at the location with the Satpol PP. We are waiting for SAR assistance. The victims are Chinese Bidara residents RW 12. Information from residents, indeed the victim was undergoing treatment at the hospital," he said.
