NTB Police Investigate The Supplier Of Fish Bomb Baku Material Detonators

MATARAM - The West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police (Polda) investigated the supplier of detonators that became raw material in the fish bombing in the waters of the area.

"The results of the disclosure, nine cases of bombing fish in NTB waters for the period January 2024 to this day. We are investigating the role of the detonator supplier," said Director of the NTB Regional Police (Dirpolairud) Kombes Andree Ghama Putra in Mataram, reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 22.

The police continue to investigate the role of the detonator supplier by developing the statements of the suspects.

"What is clear is that the position (of the detonator) is not from here (NTB). We are still pursuing the role of this supplier. Later, when an arrest occurs, we will convey it," he said.

In the disclosure of nine cases of bombing fish in the waters of NTB, the NTB Police Directorate of Police named 23 suspects.

From the suspects, the police confiscated 251 detonators, eight motorcycle boats, eight compressors, 65 bottles containing fertilizers, and various complete fishing gear.

Seven of the 23 suspects have now been transferred to the public prosecutor. For the rest, it is still in the filing process.
