Junius Waker Involved In 3 KKB Violence Actions Including The Shooting In Kuala Kencana Mimika

JAYAPURA - Head of Operations for the Cartenz Peace Task Force Kombes Faizal Rahmadani said, from the results of the investigation, it was revealed that Lupa alias Junius Waker was involved in three acts of violence committed by KKB in a number of areas in Central Papua.

Junius Waker (21) is a member of the KKB led bytenuh Tabuni and is involved in a number of violent acts committed by the KKB in Mimika and Puncak Regencies.

"The suspect Junius Waker is also an active member of the KKB," said Head of the Cartenz Peace Task Force, Kombes Faizal Rahmadani, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 21.

The act of violence involving Junius Waker, namely on November 3, 2017, was involved in the shooting of a white LWB car located at MP 69 Tembagapura, Mimika Regency.

Then on March 27, 2020, he was involved in the shooting in Kuala Kencana, Mimika Regency, which resulted in the death of a foreign national (WNA) and two people injured.

On December 19, 2019, he was involved in the shooting of members of the TNI who were members of Operation Nemangkawi who were on patrol, killing one soldier and three others injured which resulted in the death of a soldier and three others injured.

In addition, Waker was also involved in the burning of the PT Unggul camp, Mundidok, Puncak Regency which was carried out in February 2021.
