MEDAN - Muhammad Bobby Afif Nasution took the registration form for the candidate for Governor of North Sumatra from seven parties to fight in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada).

Bobby Nasution through the team as of Tuesday (21/5) took registration forms in six parties, namely the Democratic Party, PKB, Perindo, PPP, Hanura and the National Democrats (Nasdem).

"Today, we represent Mr. Bobby taking the registration form for a candidate for governor in six political parties," said Bobby Nasution's Representative Team, Ikrimah Hamidi after taking the form at the North Sumatra Nasdem Party DPW, Medan, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 21.

Ikrimah Hamidi said that previously Bobby Nasution had also directly taken the registration form for the candidate for governor in the North Sumatra Gerindra Party DPD.

"Later, Mr. Bobby will directly return his registration form in each party," he said.

He hopes that the seven parties can carry and support President Joko Widodo's son-in-law to become the Governor of North Sumatra in the 2024 Pilkada.

"Of course there are processes and requirements that are conveyed. We will follow and respect that," he said.

Previously, Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution declared himself to join the Gerindra Party as a cadre when registering to run as a candidate for Governor of North Sumatra to the Gerindra Party DPD Office, Medan, North Sumatra, Monday (20/5).

Bobby's registration was also informed by the Instagram account of the North Sumatra Gerindra Party DPD by uploading a photo of Bobby Nasution. Bobby at that time also showed the Gerindra Party Membership Card (KTA).
