PCC-Hexymer Factory In Citeureup Production Tens Of Thousands Of Items Per Day

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya raided a home-scale factory or the PCC (Paracetamol, Caffeine and Carisoprodol) and Hexymer drug industry. From the deepening, it is estimated that the factory can produce tens of thousands per day.

"This can be tens of thousands every day. So if one day the indication is that it can print ten thousand or tens of thousands," said Director of Drug Investigation at Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Hengki to reporters, Tuesday, May 21.

The estimated production of the factory refers to the confiscation results. Two large printed tools were found to be used to create PCC and Hexymer.

"The production capacity, if we look at the engine, is quite large, this can be tens of thousands per day. If you look at the existing machines, clearly there is no certainty. But if we look at the existing printing machines, two printing machines, both Hexymer and PCC," he said.

In the disclosure, PCC and Hexymer were also confiscated. The amount is more than 2 million pills.

"The total PCC that we can secure like this is a total of 1,215,000 tablets with a gross weight of 692,550 grams," he said.

"Secondly, the total yellow tablets are called hexymer, the total amount is evidence of a hexymer of 1,024,000 tablets," continued Hengki.

The illegal drugs will be circulated to the areas of Surabaya and Kalimantan. This is known based on the results of the examination of one suspect with the initials HM.

"Indeed, this will be sent by land, both to Surabaya and Kalimantan," said Hengki.

Previously reported, the Directorate of Drug Investigation of the Metro Jaya Police raided a home factory or industry for the manufacture of PCC pills in the Citeureup area, Bogor

The raid began when information was developed about the shipment of PCC pills to the Cakung area, East Jakarta.

Then, a suspicious car was found. So, the police followed the vehicle and at the right time it was immediately stopped.

The car was driven by HM, who is now a suspect. From the results of the examination, information was obtained on the location of the PCC pill factory.
