Police Hospital: No Burns On The Bodies Of Victims Of The Plane Crashed In BSD

JAKARTA - The head of Bhayangkara Tk I Hospital, R Said Sukanto (Polri Hospital) Kramat Jati, Brigadier General Pol Hariyanto, revealed that there were no burns on the bodies of three victims of the plane that crashed in BSD, Serpong, South Tangerang, on Sunday, May 19.

"There was no burns, but only very hard impact wounds. You can imagine that it fell when it hit," said Hariyanto when giving a statement at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Sunday night.

Hariyanto explained that representatives from the Indonesia Flying Club had visited the Police Hospital to provide information about the characteristics of the victim and the clothes worn by the victim before he died. The data will be matched with post mortem data by the National Police Headquarters Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Team to confirm the identity of the victim.

"For antemortem, we have received the identity. But, for postmortem, we will just carry it out later, whether it will be an autopsy or just identification and an external examination," explained Hariyanto.

The identities of the three bodies, in accordance with the antemortem data obtained from the victim's relatives, are Pulung Darmawan, Suanda, and Farid. "According to the same information circulating, yes, it is also like that (the identity of the victim) that came into us. Yes, for the same antemortem," he added.

Previously, a light plane crashed in the Sunburst Field Area, BSD, Serpong District, South Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday at around 14:09 WIB. In the incident, there were three fatalities consisting of pilots, co-pilot, and mechanics.
