Apart From Sandra Dewi, The Attorney General's Office Examines The Corruption Suspect In The Tin Helena Lin

JAKARTA - Investigators of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Attorney General's Office have again examined Helena Lin, a suspect in the alleged corruption case of tin trading in the area of PT Timah Tbk's Mining Business Permit (IUP) from 2015 to 2022.

Head of the Legal Information Center (Kapuspenkum) of the Attorney General's Office Ketut Sumedana said the investigation of the suspect Helema Lin was scheduled to coincide with the examination of Sandra Dewi on Wednesday (15/5) at 09.00 WIB.

Helena Lin, who was nicknamed the creative rich Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK), arrived at the Jampidmil Building at the Attorney General's Office, Jakarta, at 11.14 WIB.

Wearing a prison vest from the Attorney General's Office, and handcuffed, Helena Lin arrived escorted by officers from the Attorney General's Office.

Ketut said that Helena Lin's investigation this time was related to the confiscation of several assets.

"There is a suspect Helena Lin who was also questioned today regarding several confiscations of assets that we carried out," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 15.

Helena Lin is one of 21 suspects in the tin corruption case that caused state financial losses due to ecosystem damage of IDR 271 trillion.

Apart from Helena Lin, Jampidsus investigators are also conducting an examination of artist Sandra Dewi regarding assets.

Until this news was made, the examination of Sandra Dewi and Helena Lin was still ongoing.
