BANTEN - A major initiative was launched in Banten between PT Pituku Cordova Internasional and the Environment Agency (DLH). Last week, a PROPER certification handing event was held (Company Performance Performance Rating Program) for the blue, green and gold rankings, for the period 2023.

This event is a representation of the close cooperation between the government sector and the private sector in overcoming environmental challenges. Situku, as the first integrated waste management company in Indonesia to have permission from the Ministry of Environment and Forestry for B3 & Non-B3 waste, played a key role in supporting DLH Banten.

This partnership not only strengthens existing waste management infrastructure, but also increases awareness and commitment to environmental sustainability among industries. Followed by 277 companies that have received a PROPER assessment, this event is an important milestone in joint efforts to promote sustainable business practices.

This event also gave awards to 150 high-achieving companies in environmental management in the Banten region, including PT PLN Indonesia Power - Cilegon PLTGU Generation Service Unit which received a GOLD PROPER certificate and PT Krakatau Posco with a GREEN PROPER certificate.

At this event, Pituku also provided programs for all participants to reduce waste management costs by up to 15 percent by using a more environmentally friendly co-processing method, as well as the Pituku WM application facility as a waste management reporting platform.

"Cooperation between the government and the private sector is the key to achieving sustainable environmental goals," said Head of DLH Banten, Wawan Gunawan.

"We fully support all activities of government agencies and associations related to the issue of sustainability. We should carry out massive collaboration so that the growth of economic activity towards Indonesia Gold 2045 can become a sustainable and responsive growth," said Faiz Rinaldy, founder of PT Pituku Cordova Internasional.

In this collaboration, Pituku together with partners such as Hydro Kalvabio, Unilab Perdana, Trainers Management Indonesia (TMI), and Sarana Karya Medika (SKM), believe that strong partnerships will continue to encourage increased awareness and compliance of companies with environmental regulations.
