The Secretary General of the PDI-P (PDIP) Hasto Kristiyato reminded that the design of the country's ministry is not to accommodate political interests.

Therefore, the revision of the Ministry Law does not need to be done because its contents are still visionary and able to answer various challenges of the times.

This was conveyed by Hasto in response to the emergence of opportunities for revision of Law Number 39 of 2008 concerning the Ministry of State. The reason is that the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government is said to plan to increase the number of ministries by 40.

"All of the villages from the country's ministries are aimed at achieving state goals, not to accommodate all political forces," Hasto told reporters at the National Gallery, Central Jakarta, Monday, May 13.
