President Jokowi Visits West Muna Muna Kambara People's Market

KENDARI - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) visited the Kambara People's Market in Tiworo Village, Tiworo Islands (Tikep) District, West Muna Regency (Mubar), Southeast Sulawesi, Monday.

President Jokowi and his entourage arrived at the Kambara People's Market at around 14.00 WITA, Monday, May 13.

According to the Head of the Industry and Trade Office, Mubar LM Ishar Masiala, President Jokowi's main agenda in the Kambara People's Market is to distribute a thousand packages of basic necessities.

"Pak Jokowi symbolically distributed basic necessities. The President also distributed BLT of Rp. 1.2 million per person. I don't know the number of recipients," he explained as quoted by ANTARA.

One of the Wa Lisu traders said he got BLT from President Jokowi.

"Thank you Mr. President Jokowi for coming to Mubar and giving BLT. I am happy and proud to have been visited by the president. I have received community assistance from President Jokowi," he said.

The President's visit to the People's Market of Kambara was welcomed by thousands of people. Immediately got out of his car, President Jokowi immediately greeted the community and traders.

The enthusiasm of society seemed so great to welcome President Jokowi's presence in Mubar.

At ZZ Resto Coffee and the Fishing of Matakidi, which is President Jokowi's lunch venue, thousands of people are waiting on the side of the road.

Along the way from ZZ Resto Coffee to the Kambara People's Market in Tiworo Village, Tikep District, the community, both elementary school students and the general public lined up on the side of the road.
