Dedi Mulyadi Praises Former West Java Deputy Governor Uu Ruzhanul Ulum Politician Legend

Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Board of Trustees Dedi Mulyadi said Uu Ruzhanul Ulum was a political figure of legend when receiving the visit of the former Deputy Governor of West Java at his home, Lembur Pakuan Subang, West Java.

"Today I came, Mr. Uu, a student figure from Tasikmalaya Regency, and people already know the Miftahul Huda Islamic Boarding School. He is a student there, an education manager too. Then a politician is a legend," said Dedi when receiving Uu's visit at his home, in Subang, reported by ANTARA, Saturday, May 11.

He mentioned that the United Development Party (PPP) politician is a legend politician because he has struggled a lot in the world of politics, such as being a member of the legislature in Commission D of the Tasikmalaya DPRD, having also been the chairman of the DPRD, and having been the Regent of Tasikmalaya for two terms.

In addition, he said, Uu was also previously elected as Deputy Governor of West Java, including the one who defeated Dedi Mulyadi when he was a deputy governor candidate in the 2018 West Java gubernatorial election.

"Alhamdulillah, today I came here, to my house, at Lembur Pakuan Subang," he said.

Asked about the political friendship ahead of the West Java gubernatorial election, Dedi said everything was possible. Only, must get the blessing of each of his parties.

"There is no such thing as impossible. Everything is possible. But there must be the blessing of parents. Because we each have parents (Party DPP)," he said.

Meanwhile, Uu admitted that in the friendship the discussion was not far from political chat.

"In this friendship. As a politician, I am a politician and Kang Dedi is a politician, of course talking about politics, also about contemporary politics," he said.

Even so, Uu said that visiting Dedi Mulyadi's house did not mean that he was carrying out party duties. It's just an initiative to stay in touch with old friends.

"I have no assignment. But from the party, (ahead of the West Java gubernatorial election) I have been given permission to stay in touch, communicate with anyone. So I am just that, there is nothing else. Because what is called politics now, Jakarta is the one who determines. So basically we are in friendship, old friends," he said.

Silaturahim was played, because Uu thought Dedi Mulyadi was an extraordinary political figure. It is proven that in the 2024 election, said Uu, Dedi Mulyadi managed to get a very extraordinary vote, and was able to beat the votes acquired by other candidates.
