An Earthquake With A Magnitude Of 5.2 Rocked Lumajang, East Java

JAKARTA - An earthquake measuring 5.2 magnitude rocked Lumajang Regency, East Java on Saturday, May 11 at 02.34 WIB.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) reported that the earthquake occurred in the sea 112 kilometers southwest of Lumajang, at a depth of 10 kilometers.

Quoting Antara, in an early warning that was exposed through the infoBMKG application system, it was reported that earthquake vibrations were also felt for a while by residents of Jember, Kepajen, Pacitan, Blitar, Surabaya and its surroundings on a scale II-III MMI.

However, BMKG has not reported in detail regarding the triggers and impacts caused by the community due to the earthquake.
