JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo took the time off to stay in touch with around 80 chairmen and secretaries of the National Mandate Party (PAN) at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Friday afternoon.
"Alhamdulillah, even though it's a holiday, the father from Bogor is here willing. Of course it's an unexpected joy and friends too," said PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan (Zulhas) at the Jakarta Presidential Palace.
Zulhas said the agenda for the meeting was held on the sidelines of holding the PAN National Coordination Meeting in Jakarta which presented the leaders and secretaries of PAN at the provincial level.
"I said yesterday, sir, if you want permission, this is my brother from all over Indonesia who wants to see the Palace, sir and wants to meet the figure you love and are proud of," he said.

Zulhas said as many as 80 participants who attended in touch were cadres from PAN from Sabang to Merauke who had been going back and forth to meet President Jokowi at the Palace.
"However, this effort failed several times because of the bureaucratic process at the Jakarta Presidential Palace complex which was not easy," Zulhas added.
On that occasion, Zulhas also told the process of meeting his entourage with President Jokowi at the Palace which was said to be exciting.
