Youth Molested A Number Of Boys In Mosques, Caught By Residents Then Beaten To Bonyok

JAKARTA - A man with the initials AF (20) was judged by the masses for allegedly sexually harassing six underage boys on Jalan Utama Cengkareng Barat, West Jakarta.

"It happened yesterday, Thursday. Starting at 8 am. But earlier on Wednesday there was also an incident, at 12 am people were praying at the midday prayer. At the ablution place, (the perpetrator) had committed sexual abuse to one child," said NK (28) brother of one of the victims of sexual harassment when confirmed, Friday, May 10.

According to NK, the incident occurred last Thursday morning at around 08.00 WIH. Initially the children were playing at the mosque. Suddenly while playing, an adult man called "dek...dek, here.. here".

Then the victims were taken to the side of the mosque and there was a parking car.

"When they were called there, two people immediately grabbed their genitals. The perpetrator asked, 'have you been circumcised yet?'

Apart from the two victims, then there were other victims who had just played in the place. The perpetrator returned to the next victim and held him. Then the victims returned to their respective homes. Then the perpetrator returned to raiding the house of another victim and returned to touching the victim's genitals.

"The victim was playing with his cellphone and was held, the perpetrator then fled. When the victim's brother entered the house, the victim told his mother if someone was unknown. The victim complained about the perpetrator's actions to his mother," he said.

Luckily, the perpetrator was caught and interrogated by the father of one of the victims. The perpetrator initially dodged, but when the victim's mother approached the perpetrator, finally the case of abuse against the child below was revealed.

The perpetrator was then handed over to the Cengkareng Police. Cengkareng Police Chief Kompol Hasoloan Situmorang confirmed the incident. The perpetrator has been arrested and handed over to the West Jakarta Metro Police.
