Moeldoko Reminds The Need For State Governance Understanding For The Young Generation

Jakarta - Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko said the importance of the role of Indonesia's young generation in providing recommendations for public policy.

Moeldoko assessed that the younger generation, which will have a position in the government in the future, must have an understanding of how this country is managed, especially in national development policies.

"The young generation must understand how this country is managed, there are rules and roadmaps," said Moeldoko in the second series of the 'Indonesia Future Network (IFN): Future Policy' forum at the Bina Graha building, Jakarta, Monday, May 6.

He continued, young people need to understand President Joko Widodo's legacy, especially to achieve the vision of Indonesia Gold 2045. Young people need to connect so they don't see wrong, those of you who are future leaders," he added.

Furthermore, Moeldoko emphasized that there are five directives from President Jokowi that IFN participants need to observe in formulating constructive solutions for the government. Namely, the development of human resources, development of infrastructure, Bureaucratic Reform, reform in the legal sector, and transformation in the economic sector.

"I hope that after coming from here, (participants) can understand the more complete perspective of how this country is managed," concluded Moeldoko.

IFN is a multi-party collaboration program between the Presidential Staff Office and the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of National Development Planning/National Development Planning Agency, the Pijar Foundation, Huawei, and the Young Citizens Association. Currently, IFN is in the second session to discuss the Future Policy theme. IFN is held once a month, from March to September 2024.

Participants who attend are potential future leaders who have been curated and have competence in their respective fields. Starting from the private sector, government, NGOs to youth organizations.
