PKS Signal Wants To Be Met By Prabowo Arrested By Gerindra

Secretary General of the Gerindra Party Ahmad Muzani said his party had arrested the wishes of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) to meet the Elected President for the period 2024-2029 Prabowo Subianto.

"We have arrested PKS signals and studied them," said Muzani in the Pademangan area, Jakarta, Saturday.

He also revealed that the party bearing the symbol of rice and the crescent moon had worked together in carrying Prabowo in the 2014 and 2019 presidential elections.

"PKS has supported Pak Prabowo twice, at least 2014 and 2019," he added.

However, the meeting between Prabowo and PKS cannot be held in the near future. According to him, Prabowo needed time to find the right momentum.

"Pak Prabowo has also arrested (the signal from PKS). Once again, Pak Prabowo needs time (and) is looking for the right momentum," explained Muzani.

Previously, Saturday (27/4), Secretary General of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Aboe Bakar Al Habsyi hoped that his party would be visited by President-elect Prabowo Subianto to be invited to join the upcoming government coalition, not only the National Awakening Party and the NasDem Party.

"The problem is that we want togetherness after NasDem and PKB are visited, maybe PKS will definitely be visited, we hope so anyway," said Aboe when met at the PKS DPP office, South Jakarta (27/4).

According to him, internal parties will decide whether the PKS stance will be inside or outside the government circle. In addition to internal decisions, PKS also hopes that the plan will be welcomed by the owner of the major coalition, namely Prabowo.
