Accept Sorry, Cianjur Regional Secretary Demanded To Resign Islah With Regents Et Al

CIANJUR - Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Cianjur Regency, West Java, Cecep Alamsyah received an apology from the regent and dozens of service heads and Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) who had made a statement to him resign from his position.

"We have declared islah for the problems that had made the Cianjur community restless. We agreed to return to duty for a better Cianjur in the future," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 3.

Cecep explained that he would not extend the problems made by 24 service heads and OPD who made a statement asking him to resign because he was not in harmony with the Cianjur Regent, so he had time to create chaos in Cianjur.

"I am committed to supporting the Regent of Cianjur, until his term of office expires. We agreed to forgive each other and return to work for Cianjur's progress," he said.

He has also forgiven 24 of his subordinates who made a statement that they do not believe in him, because humans do not escape mistakes and experience corruption for the sake of the people of Cianjur.

"We will return to work to provide the best service for Cianjur," he said.

Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman said he had asked all service heads and OPD to return to work and coordinate with the Cianjur Regional Secretary and forget problems that had made various groups restless, including the community.

"We want to prove that this problem has been resolved, before being summoned by the Acting Governor of West Java, I as the regent have stated that I am ready to return to work together with Cecep Alamsyah," he said.

He explained that it was between himself and dozens of officials in Cianjur and the Cianjur Regional Secretary on his wish, not the request of the Acting Governor of West Java.

"Not because of the Acting Governor of West Java, but because of a mutual agreement with the Cianjur Regional Secretary. For the sake of Cianjur, we will return to work. As a subordinate of the Governor of West Java, I am very ashamed because he knows this problem," he said.

As previously reported, West Java Governor Beyvi Machmudin said the West Java Provincial Government through the Regional Secretary Herman Suryatman had brought together Cianjur Regent Herman Suherman and Cianjur Cecep Alamsyah Regional Secretary, and both agreed to islah for the construction of Cianjur Regency.

"Both of them agreed to islah and will work together," said Bey when contacted by the media in Bandung, Thursday.

Based on the information he received, Bey said the Cianjur Regional Secretary was also committed to supporting the Cianjur Regent until his term ended.
