Female Killer In Suitcase Allegedly Stealing Tens Of Millions To Pay Wedding Reception

JAKARTA - The police suspect that there was an economic motive behind the murder case of Rini Mariany, a woman whose body was found in a suitcase in West Cikarang.

Because the suspect, Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh, not only stole tens of millions of money but it is known that he will also hold a wedding reception.

"So there may be a motive where he needs money to pay his reception money," said West Cikarang Police Chief, Kompol Gurnald Patiran to reporters, Thursday, May 2.

From the results of the examination, the suspect is said to have carried out the wedding ceremony procession on March 17. However, Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh will only hold a reception on May 5.

If inferred temporarily, the suspect may have killed the victim to control the money he brought.

"So here there are several motives, financial motives. Economic problems," said Gurnald.

Previously, the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the suspect Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh stole the victim's money worth Rp43 million.

"It's true, the perpetrator took the victim's money of Rp43 million," said Ade.

The money did not belong to the victim. Instead, the company money brought by Rini Mariany and will be deposited into the bank.

Investigators are starting to explore the possibility of economic motives behind the murder case.

"Until now, an intensive examination is still being carried out," said Ade.

As a reminder, Rini Mariany's body was found in a suitcase in West Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, Thursday, April 25. Meanwhile, the suspect Ahmad Arif Ridwan Nuwloh was arrested in the Palembang area, on May 1.
