JAKARTA - Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edi Marsudi, criticized the slow service of regional public hospitals (RSUD) in Jakarta, especially in handling accident patients. Prasetyo regretted that many people were victims because of the slow service of hospitals in Jakarta. In fact, it seems that the hospital does not prioritize the safety of the patient's life. “ Must accept people under any condition! Don't ask where the collision is first? Don't say you can't accept it, it's a hospital assignment,” Prasetyo said in his statement, Wednesday, May 1. Based on public complaints, administrative rules are often the reason hospitals are not optimal in serving aid to patients quickly. As a result, the patient had to lie for a long time with pain. Ironically, the patient did not get help even in these conditions. "In fact, we are ready to support if the RSUD requires additional budget to improve health services for all Jakarta residents," he explained. On a separate occasion, the Head of the DKI Jakarta Health Service (Dinkes) Ani Ruspitawati said that she would improve services in all hospitals. Of the total 31 hospitals in Jakarta, said Ani, in 2025 it will prioritize Cancer, Heart, Stroke, and Uronefrology (KJSU) services, as well as the provision of medical devices.
