President Jokowi Calls For Justice And Welfare On International Labor Day

JAKARTA - President Jokowi voiced his aspirations in an effort to create justice and prosperity for workers.

This was conveyed by the President in his Instagram social media account @jokowi to coincide with the commemoration of International Labor Day on May 1, which was monitored in Jakarta, Wednesday.

"Let's continue the fighting spirit of the workers to achieve justice and prosperity together," said President Jokowi.

Launching ANTARA, the Head of State emphasized that every worker is a daily hero who keeps the wheels of the economy turning.

"Happy International Labor Day," said Jokowi.

International Labor Day or known as May Day is celebrated every May 1 and is a celebration of workers and working classes to remind the long history of workers in fighting for their rights.
