JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) exercise by bicycle around enjoying the morning in Mataram City during a three-day working visit to West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Province from April 30 to May 2, 2024.

President Jokowi cycled from his location to stay at the Lombok Astoria Hotel, Mataram City, Wednesday morning at 06.10 WITA.

President Jokowi cycled wearing a green long-sleeved shirt, black pants, and wore a red and white helmet.

During cycling President Jokowi was accompanied by Minister of Agriculture (Mentan) Amran Sulaiman and his entourage under the escort of Paspampres.

President Jokowi cycled with his entourage along the Bung Hatta Canal Road to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Mataram City.

For almost 30 minutes President Jokowi used a bicycle before returning to the hotel at 06.32 WITA.

Not only cycling all the way through, but President Jokowi also smiled and greeted the residents to take selfies (selfie).

Arriving at the hotel, President Jokowi also distributed basic necessities to residents who were waiting for him after cycling.

One of the residents of Mataram City, Mrs. Hayani, admitted that she was happy after seeing the president. He also thanked him after receiving groceries from the president "Alhamdulillah, I am happy to meet the President," he said.

Assistant for Economics and Development of the Provincial Secretariat (Pemprov) of NTB Fathul Gani said that during the work in NTB, President Jokowi is scheduled to carry out a number of activities both on the islands of Lombok and Sumbawa Island.

"As soon as he arrived on Tuesday, President Jokowi and his entourage rested and stayed in Mataram City, after making a working visit in Banyuwangi, East Java," he said.

Fathul said that on the second day of Wednesday, May 1, still in Mataram City, President Jokowi and his entourage carried out sports activities in the morning, followed by cycling/relax walking activities in the Mataram City area.

"After carrying out the sport in the morning, in the afternoon President Jokowi headed for the soccer field, he was also still in the Mataram City area to play football with the community, after that he returned to the hotel," he said.

Then the next day on Thursday 2 May, President Jokowi and his entourage headed to the Regional Road Instruction (iIJD) location in West Lombok Regency.

"This is where the president conducts a road review, followed by pressing the siren button and signing the inscription," he said.

Furthermore, after carrying out activities in West Lombok Regency, President Jokowi and his entourage headed to West Sumbawa Regency (KSB) using a presidential helicopter to review and inaugurate the Tiu Sunuk Dam.

After inaugurating the Tiu Suku Dam for West Sumbawa, President Jokowi resumed his working visit to Sumbawa Regency by helicopter.

"As soon as he arrived in Sumbawa, the President and his entourage visited the Seketeng Sembawa Traditional Market. In this place President Jokowi handed over working capital assistance (BMK) to market traders," he said.

In addition, it is still on the same day and place that President Jokowi handed over Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) to the traders of the Central Seketeng Market. Then go to Samota to carry out the corn harvest.

"After the harvest in Samota, the President of the Republic of Indonesia and his entourage returned to Zainudin Abdul Madjid International Airport (Bizam) in Lombok to then return to Jakarta during the day," he said.
