BALI - Army Chief of Staff (KSAD) General Maruli Simanjuntak has entrusted the handling of cases involving members of the TNI of the Kodam IX/Udayana Health Unit Lieutenant Satu Malik Hanro Agam or Lettu Agam to the military court.
"There is progress, there is progress in the court," said Maruli while attending the 2024 Central Army Unit Commander's Apple at Pandawa Beach, Badung Regency, Bali, Antara, Friday, April 26.
Maruli emphasized that the handling of cases involving Lettu Agam in military courts was carried out in accordance with applicable legal procedures. This also applies to the wife of Lettu Agam, Anandira Puspita Sari.
"That's in accordance with legal channels. If it's legal, you can't be told to hurry," he said.
The Army Chief of Staff said that the Indonesian Army helped Anandira Puspita to find justice because her status was still a member of the Army Wives Association (Persit).
Regarding the final decision, Maruli left it entirely to the court. "Because he is still a member of Persit, we will help take care of it, if the court decides, yes," he said.
Previously, a member of the TNI Kesdam IX/Udayana Unit Lieutenant Satu Malik Hanro Agam or Lettu Agam was reported to his unit by his wife Anandira Puspita for being involved in three different cases.
First Lieutenant Agam was reported for a case of alleged domestic violence (KDRT), alleged affair with a woman who works as a sales worker in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, and alleged affair with a woman with the initials BA reported by his wife Anandira Puspita.
Head of Information for Military Regional Commander IX/Udayana Colonel Infantry Agung Udayana said First Lieutenant Agam had now been detained at the Denpom Udayana Detention Center.
Meanwhile, Lettu Agam's wife, Anandira Puspita, is still taking legal action over her determination as a suspect by Denpasar City Police investigators.
Anandira Puspita was named a suspect by Denpasar Police investigators for alleged violations of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE).
Denpasar Police Investigators ensnared Anandira Puspita with Article 48 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 paragraph (1) of Law Number 11 of 2008 concerning Electronic Information and Transactions in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code (KUHP).
Apart from Anandira Puspita, Instagram admin @yohajarlaporkan6, Soeslistya Adi Day, was also charged with the same article. Both are considered to jointly upload and transmit personal data belonging to a woman with the initials BA without permission.
In uploading the Instagram account @yohajarlaporkan6 it was stated that BA, which was confirmed by the son of a high-ranking police officer at the Malang Police, was involved in an affair with Anandira Puspita's husband, namely Lettu Agam.
On that basis, Anandira Puspita and Hari Soeslistya Adi were reported to the Denpasar Police by BA's attorney. After being detained, Anandira Puspita has now been released, but is still a suspect.
