JAKARTA - Candidates for President and Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka departed from the Kartanegara IV area, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, to the office of the General Election Commission (KPU) of the Republic of Indonesia, Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, April 24. The two of them came to the KPU to carry out the appointment of the elected president and vice president. From the observations at the location, Prabowo and Gibran who wore a white long-sleeved shirt climbed the same car, namely the white Toyota Alphard at 09.36 WIB. When leaving, Prabowo took the time to open his car glass and waved at the media crew who had been waiting in front of his house. Prabowo and Gibran did not say a word to the media crew. They immediately left with the entourage to the KPU building. Both are scheduled to go together to the KPU to determine the winner of the 2024 presidential election at 10.00 WIB.

Previously, the Indonesian General Elections Commission (KPU), Wednesday night (20/3), appointed Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka as the elected candidate pair in the 2024 General Election with a total of 96,214,691 votes. Meanwhile, the Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar pair received 40,971,906 votes, while the Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md pair got 27,040,878 votes.
