Gibran Asks People To Report If They Find Online Gambling Cases

Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka asked the public to immediately report to him if there were any online gambling cases. "If there is a report, please report it to me as well," he said in Solo, Central Java, Antara, Monday, April 22. The report also includes online games played by minors. "That's our commitment, parents, teachers to eradicate. If anything happens, report it to me," he said. Meanwhile, he also appreciated the plan to form an Online Judi Eradication Task Force by President Joko Widodo. "That's why it's a special concern, the eradication of online gambling has been raised. Hopefully it will go well," he said. Asked about whether or not a complaint post was needed about an online gambling case in Solo, according to him, he still has to wait for the existing dynamics. "We'll just have to wait for the victim. If there is an incident that is troubling, we will follow up," he said. Previously (19/4), Minister of Communication and Information (Menkominfo) Budi Arie Setiadi said that the integrated task force (task force) carried out by the central government to eradicate online gambling would use three steps to support its performance. "So the solution (online gambling) means three, comprehensive, integral and holistic to overcome online gambling wars and emergencies," said Budi at the Ministry of Communication and Information Office, Central Jakarta.

Budi said the President entrusted the Coordinating Minister for Political, Defense and Security Affairs Hadi Tjahjanto to lead the integrated task force.
