Central Jakarta Metro Police plans to divert traffic flow around the horse statue, Monas area, Central Jakarta, ahead of the 2024 election dispute decision at the Constitutional Court Building on Monday, April 22.

"Traffic engineering will be situational depending on conditions in the field. If the excalation increases and is needed, then, traffic diversion and road closure will be carried out," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro when confirmed.

The roads in the Monas area that will be diverted starting from the Harmoni intersection leading to Jalan Merdeka Barat are closed and diverted to Jalan Kesehatan.

"We have closed the officer's road leading to Merdeka Utara Street, we will direct the route to the Mosque and Banteng Field," he said.

Then the Thamrin intersection closed and shifted to Jalan Kebun Sirih which leads to Jalan Abdul Muis and to the Farmer Statue.

"We urge people who will pass around Monas to look for other alternative roads because there will be an action of expressing opinions at the Horse Statue," he said.
