President Jokowi Inaugurates Panua Pohuwato Airport In Gorontalo Today

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo is scheduled to inaugurate a number of infrastructures ranging from airports to regional roads during his working visit on the second day in Gorontalo Province, Monday, April 22.

Based on an official statement from the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat received in Jakarta, quoted from ANTARA, President Jokowi left for Pohuwato Regency using an ATR 72-600 aircraft via Djalaluddin Airport, Gorontalo Regency at around 07.20 WITA.

Seen releasing the departure of the Head of State at Djalaluddin Airport, namely Gorontalo Regent Nelson Pomalingo, Dandim 1315/Gorontalo Regency Lt. Col. Arm. Yudhi Ari Irawan, Gorontalo Police Chief AKBP Deddy Herman, Sam Ratulangi Air Base Head Lt. Col. Pas. Togap M. Siburian, and Danlanal Gorontalo Marine Lt. Col. (P) Martha Novalianto.

Arriving at Panua Pohuwato Airport, Pohuwato Regency, the President is scheduled to directly inspect airport facilities, followed by inaugurating the airport.

After the event, President Jokowi continued his journey to Boalemo Regency, Gorontalo Province by using the Indonesian Air Force's Super Puma helicopter.

In Boalemo Regency, the Head of State will inaugurate the implementation of the Regional Road Instruction (IJD) in Gorontalo Province. In addition, President Jokowi is also planned to review the corn harvest location.

After that, President Jokowi will depart for Bone Bolango Regency by helicopter via helipad at the Boalemo Youth Stadium, Boalemo Regency.

In Bone Bolango Regency, President Jokowi will review the Bolango Ulu Dam and the Toto Kabila Regional General Hospital (RSUD).

After all the agendas in Gorontalo Province are completed, President Jokowi will depart for West Sulawesi Province using the Indonesia-1 Presidential Aircraft through Djalaluddin Airport.

Also accompanying President Jokowi during a working visit to Gorontalo Province were Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman.
