President Jokowi: The Decision Of The Presidential Election Dispute Is The Authority Of The Constitutional Court

President Joko Widodo said the decision regarding the Presidential Election dispute (Pilpres) was the territory or authority of the Constitutional Court (MK).

This was conveyed by Jokowi when asked for his response regarding the trial for reading the decision on the 2024 presidential election dispute which will be held by the Constitutional Court on Monday (22/4) tomorrow.

"Oh, that's the area in the territory of the Constitutional Court," said the President briefly, as quoted by Antara on the sidelines of a working visit in Gorontalo, Sunday.

Previously, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin had appealed to the public and all relevant parties, especially those with disputes and supporters to respect and accept whatever results were decided by the Constitutional Court later.

The Vice President's appeal was conveyed by the Spokesperson for the Vice President Masduki Baidlowi in a written statement in Jakarta, Sunday.

"The Constitutional Court trial is part of the legal dispute resolution mechanism after the implementation of the 2024 General Election and Presidential Election. The Constitutional Court has also carried out public involvement to argue, through theamicus of stealing or court friends who have been welcomed by national figures and smart experts. Thus the decision of the MKlegitimate," said the Special Staff of the Vice President for Communication and Information Masduki Baidlowi in his statement in Jakarta, Sunday.

According to Masduki, the Vice President asked all Indonesians to continue to maintain harmony and unity for a more advanced and prosperous Indonesia.

"Because harmony and unity are the main prerequisites for a nation to continue to move to progress," said Masduki.
