Police Wait For Family Approval For Autopsy Of Pregnant Woman's Body Found In Kelapa Gading Shophouse

JAKARTA - Kelapa Gading Police have not been able to reveal the type of injury suffered by RN (34), a pregnant woman who died covered in blood in a shop that will be used as a shop or cafe on Jalan Boulevard Raya, Kelapa Gading, North Jakarta.

The reason is, the explanation of the wound on the victim's body can only be conveyed by a team of forensic doctors after an autopsy process was carried out on the body.

"Waiting for the results of the initial post-mortem from the Police Hospital. We cannot convey (the wound on the victim's body)," said Kelapa Gading Police Chief, Kompol Maulana Mukarom when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, April 21.

Currently, the body of the RN victim is already at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.

However, a team of forensic doctors and investigators from the Kelapa Gading Police have not been able to carry out an autopsy process on the body of the RN victim because they have not received a statement from the victim's family.

"For the autopsy, we are waiting for the approval of the victim's family. The family (still) traveled from out of town," he said.

In addition, the police are still pursuing the perpetrator of the murder of the RN victim. The perpetrator is also known to have stolen the victim's cellphone.

"The perpetrator has not been arrested, he is still pursuing it," he said.
