Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Hadi Tjahjanto stated that his party would form a task force (Satgas) to deal with pornography problems online which made minors victims.

According to him, the average age of children who are victims of online pornography starts from 12-14 years old. However, he said, there are also children who are still in early childhood education (PAUD) and disability groups who are also victims of immoral acts.

"Including our students who are in Islamic boarding schools who are often victims, and the perpetrators are actually known people and close people," Hadi said as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, April 18.

Based on data from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC), according to him, there are 5.566.015 pornographic content involving Indonesian children. This number, he said, made Indonesia ranked fourth internationally.

"And rank two in the ASEAN region," he said.

Through the Task Force, later the ministries involved will be coordinated to overcome these problems. In addition to immoral acts online, according to him, the Task Force will also investigate offline immoral acts.

"Each ministry has very strong regulations, we just have to implement it," he said.
