Bandang Floods Hit 91 Houses In Sigi, Central Sulawesi, BPBD Asks Village Head For Data On The Needs Of Affected Residents

SULTENG - Flash floods hit 91 houses of residents of Sambo Village in Sigi Regency, Central Sulawesi (Central Sulawesi). As a result, as many as 103 heads of families (KK) were affected by the disaster.

"From the temporary data reported by the Sambo Village Head, there were 91 houses affected by the flood with a total of 103 families and 307 people consisting of six babies, 14 toddlers and 10 elderly victims of flash floods in the village," said Head of Disaster Disaster BPBD Sigi Regency, Ahmad Yani in Sigi, Thursday, April 18, confiscated by Antara. Ahmad also asked the Village Head (Kades) Sambo and Balongga to make detailed data regarding the needs of each of their residents affected by the flash flood to facilitate the distribution of aid right on target. "I ask for the identification of each village head to immediately make more specific data, so that the expectations from affected residents based on the head of the family can be distinguished which are displaced and are still living in their respective homes. The point is that we serve everything but in priority we make the incoming assistance, namely blankets, mattresses, so we prioritize residents who at the time of the flood experience flooding," he said.

The command post, said Ahmad, remains with the Regency Government with the task of assisting field posts so as to deal with the flood disaster emergency. "Hopefully all people in the disaster preparedness group (KSB) of each village can handle the natural disaster that occurred," said Ahmad.

Hingga saat ini hanya ada posko pengungsian di Desa Sambo Kecamatan Dolo Selatan berlokasi di lapangan sepakbola, sementara di desa Balongga tidak ada titik pengungsian warga setempat."Kalau untuk titik pengungsian sudah kami upayakan berkomunikasi dengan masyarakat bahwa mereka lebih nyaman tinggal di rumah kerabatnya masing-masing, harapannya jangan sampai warga yang tinggal di rumah kerabatnya membebani keluarga yang ditinggali tadi," ujarnya.Pemerintah kabupaten Sigi melalui Dinas Sosial sudah mendirikan tenda dan posko dapur umum di Desa Balongga untuk membantu kebutuhan makanan warga terdampak banjir bandang di Sambo maupun Balongga."Makanya pemerintah membangun dapur umum untuk kebutuhan makanan korban bencana," kata Ahmad.Hingga saat ini dua alat berat jenis excavator berukuran besar dan kecil berada di lokasi banjir bandang Desa Sambo untuk membersihkan sisa material lumpur dan kayu disepanjang sungai dan perumahan warga setempat.
